A shaftless screw is a heavier-gauge helicoid flight that is produced to outside diameter and pitch specifications with an open centre. VisSansFin produces shaftless flight from a single bar or with an \u201cinner and outer\u201d flight construction consisting of multiple bars (stacked flight).<\/p>\n

The flight is manufactured with two, three or more individual bars or a combination of helicoid and sectional flights. This offers increased cross-section strength and stiffness.<\/p>\n

The multiple bars can be of different thickness and height or even different materials; for example, a carbon steel inner flight and abrasion-resistant outer flight. <\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019re able to supply shaftless screws made mainly of carbon steel, abrasion-resistant steel or stainless steel and up to 250 Brinell hardness. <\/span><\/p>\n

We have all machining and assembly capabilities needed to manufacture the most complex and demanding shaftless screws.<\/span><\/p>\n
